    I'm impressed!

But we haven't a vegetable garden.

Still, I managed to "pick" the raspberries and cream in Waitrose and my wife gets the flavoured meringues from her shopping channel.

With all the rain we have been getting at least the chore of watering is covered. Other than that haven't done much except check on the garden and fill the bird feeders.

Not a lot today, but I did give the roses a spray of Sulphur Rose. There is a bit of evidence of black spot on some, but nothing like the problem I had last year.

As usual, the bamboo has thickened up, it always looks a bit sparse early in the year and you could see through part of the canopy.
It gets no special treatment, other than the removal of any dead canes in the Spring.
The black wire crossing the roof of the pagoda, is the 6v feed from the tea-house to the trail/cam next to the hedgehog doorway in the fence.

The last of the rhodos is fading, this will need dead-heading soon.

The first of the clematis along the back fence, mostly hidden by the azaleas and rhodos is flowering.

This is one of our giant lilies. It needed to grow this tall to be ready to bloom to escape being hidden by the wisteria foliage.
