Loggie—Did you train him to go into a holding pattern? If you could just get him to hold truths…he could hold them to be self-evident.
Yes Sjoerd i did train him to do a sit stay and a down stay and to leave food on floor or in my hand.
My neighbors dog died last month, so last week they went and adopted another one, a six year old mutt. They drove it home, opened the gate and the dog spooked and got out of its collar and ran off. They owned it for two hours. They paid $600.00 for it. They posted all around with flyers, for which I give them credit for as they posted in all the surrounding towns too. they really spent time trying to raise awareness. People actually reported seeing it but the dog is a nervous wreck and very skittish and would just run if approached. Yesterday..someone caught it and now my neighbors have a new family member. And I have another dog to hand out treats to. See...its all good.
