So then, here is a vase of about ten flowers.
The back story is that some folks asked us if we could supply them with one flower apiece to take to a cremation. They could have gone to a florist but asked us. What an honour.

The reason for that was that the family requested specifically that folks bring a single, unwrapped flower to lay on the wicker casket.

We went to the lottie and tried to think of just two appropriate flowers to bring. We could not decide; so we picked ten, the rational for that was that we could give the people a choice…and what was left they could keep and use in their own vase for a few days.

They chose a Daisy and the Thalictrum and were chuffed.

    Touching and warm.

The daisy and thalictrum sound perfect.

That is an honour Sjoerd. And how you handled it was very thoughtful. It gave them a personal connection to their choice in their farewell. Very sweet of you both.
