I started flower gardening when I was still living in an apartment, but my parents let me start a garden in their back yard. The first ever flowers I grew were bleeding hearts. I loved them so much, I grew nasturtiums and morning glories, as well as Tulips in the same year that year. I loved that the tulips and bleeding hearts came back every year.

I am a far better flower gardener than I am a vegetable gardener, I'm not going to lie lol. I did transplant my bleeding hearts to my new house, unfortunately one looks like it isn't coming back but the other is flourishing and has red buds on them already!

I was probably about 6 years old. My parents gave me zinnia and marigold seeds to plant in rows in the vegetable garden. That sort of set my "style" (lol) for growing flowers.
