Oreti— You have some stunning plants there. Blimey!
So much colour and variation. Yes, I could look at your garden foto’s all day long. It is hot here, so I may do just that!:D

Nice group of Hostas. Your Lavatera looks really good. Cor, I haven’t grown those for years. The same for the Asclepias. I have a different one than yours now, that my old bee mentor gave me. I believe that yours will bloom with red and yellow flowers. Mine is a bit less interesting, but my bees were mad about it.
Mine, like yours is stil with buds.
Your Black Spider Lily is an eye-catcher, isn’t it.

    Well done, you.

The Agapanthus is blooming. The plant had no label on it, but I a guessing it is the ‘Arctic Star’.

Thanks @Sjoerd, yes it blooms an orangy red.
We have the Lavatera dotted all around the garden as it adds height and all summer colour.
Love your Agapanthus I did try growing it one year......never saw any so not sure what happened. :(

Uh oh! Maybe it wasn’t hardy enough. What a shame.

Oops..didn't even know that you can get hardy or non hardy. My mistake probably laid there then with lack of research.
    Lesson learnt.:):like:

Oreti— Well there are other things that could have ruined your plant. If you zone is wrong you can always mulch it in the winter. Then, there are evergreen types and deciduous ones.
Ach, you probably just had bad luck.
