We popped out to the lottie to check for wind damage and to harvest the sugar snaps.

There were a few strawbs that pulled me aside and asked to be taken home. What could I say; it would be rude of me to refuse, especially sonce they have recently done their best to redden-up in spite of the weather.

when we got home it was time for tea and a something sweet. It was a chocolate cake with coconut shavings topped with one of the rescued strawbs. It was lovely to see.

After supper we made quick and decadent work of the remaining fruits.

Annie— I know what you mean. Oh, and they smell so good.

Pac— Better put a bib on, lass.

KK— Do you guys import strawbs at all, or are they perhaps grown in the highlands?

Looks good @Sjoerd but I am one of the few out there who do not like strawberries but do grow for the family who love them.
