@Oreti it's better to keep mobile after replacement knees and hips. Hubby had both hips done and he's a lot better now, but he finds it difficult to cut his toenails, so i help him.

@Melody Mc. looks good and yes i can spot the rock berry.

We weeded the brassicas. It was very necessary. They are under a net at this point and difficult to get to. We also covered a blueberry bush. Notice to the blackbirds— the buffet is over.

Nothing today, just shopping and watching tennis on TV, though I may push the vacuum cleaner around the house later.

Trimmed back and deadheaded the Petunias and Geraniums in the display pots watered and gave them a feed this morning. Also had to re-stake a couple of the big Lillies that must've toppled over during our recent short but heavy rainfall .Just waiting for a laundry load to finish then I plan to sow a few seeds.

    Lovely weather today.:like:

I have a large section of garden in the front of the house that needs a simple, hardy, pretty fix. So...up steps my tough Hansa rose. I'm trying cuttings for the first time. I know that it is the wrong time of year, but with such a short season and limited time to get things in the dirt I'm giving it a shot. These are from new growth...but I may try a few with older growth and see what happens?? Kind of shooting in the dark on this one.

And this confused plant...I can't handle having Christmas inside anymore, and the hummingbirds are constantly at the window wanting to see it. So outside it went under the humming bird feeders. It has lasted a week so far, and now the hummers buzz around it instead of repeatedly tapping their beaks on the window.
