It's been a lovely day ,albeit cooler than of late. It was much more pleasant to be out and about in. Hoping for some rain tomorrow but the majority of forecasts seem to think we probably won't get any as we're right on the edge of it's predicted pathway. Seriously hoping they're wrong as I decided not to do any watering tonight and the last lot was done early on Friday morning.....so really pinning my hopes on some rainfall tomorrow.
77°f - 97 feels like 107...0h yes, yes it does !!. We have a storm in the Atlantic that they say will cross the Florida peninsula and then join a disturbance that is brewing in the Gulf of "MEXICO !!" We are supposed to get storms tonight and tomorrow at least. If it becomes a hurricane it will be named Dexter.

Almost 4" of rain last evening. Some flooding, but it sure helped end the drought. Of course now the dew point is going up to 77. YUK
Had trouble all morning trying to post on here, just wouldn't accept anything, but I have notice the one I wrote to Annikay had now appeared but not my early morning forecast one....strange. So here's a recap - Bright sunny morning mostly although you wouldn't have thought so judging by our forecast....stating it was wet!!! However we did eventually see rain around 11 for 5 mins eventually the sunshine came back briefly before we had 10 mins of drizzle . All has gone and you wouldn't know we've had any as the moisture has evaporated. Raindrops can be seen collected on the Hostas.
