@Clay_22 one of our Snake Plants began to unexpectedly die back last year. I wanted to try and propagate from it.
First I manage to save one leaf which I cut off the dying plant and just dipped the end in rooting gel.....took a while but eventually new fresh leaves appeared. Old original leaf in on the left .



I also cut the tip of from a leaf that was beginning to show signs of decline, and did exactly the same as with the whole leaf cutting.

It has now developed 3 new leaves...again this was a slow process too. Original tip of leaf is on the left.

Too hot for any gardening today, but will water everything tonight if it doesn't rain.
I've vacuum cleaned the whole house. I now need my second shower of the day, before lunch (pâté on toast).

 

Hmm. Well, it's certainly leaning....

 

I got up early and trimmed and cleared out my small blackberry patch. I have a wheelbarrow over flowing with trimmings. I had to pull out four or five that had come up around ny gardenia bush and pulled up two wisterias that had been seeded amongst them.

I checked my abelia cuttings and the pomegranet cuttings I took in spring and they all rooted !!

I always loved propagating plants. My 6th grade science fair project focused on that! I still do it, even though I grow to many. It always amazes me, how many ways plant have to propagate.

 

We've had humidity for the last three days, which is very unusual for our location. Which means rain and thunderstorms the last few days. I picked the last large picking of strawberries, harvested six large heads of Early Dividend broccoli and two small Golden Cross Hybrid cabbages. We really enjoy them as they are a one meal cabbage.

The weeds definitely think they are winning right now, but I hope to make a strong comeback tomorrow and claim a little victory.

It will be mostly rain today, which is a good day to tidy up and have a greenhouse care day. The tomatoes are getting heavy and need support, and the cucumber plants need a little weeding. I'll take my radio down to the greenhouse for a couple of hours after breakfast. And my camera.

Thank you for the strawberry info @Daniel W Many year ago my neighbour planted Alpine strawberries in amongst a natural field on her property where wild strawberries grew. It was so much fun to pick with her.

I have a few areas in my pasture where the wild ones grow. I may try her trick and do a naturalized planting there next year.
