Annie— haha. I don’t know about that. Cheers though. I have not seen one for a couple of years. Curious beasts.

Loggie— stunning. That lily really is amazing to see. It is working for you. Is it planted alone or part of a border?
Say, how’s that little wrist coming along?

Pac— cheers for your gracious words.

    Pink-ish flowers

Compte de Chambord rose, a variety developed in France by Robert and Moreau, in about 1858. Probably the same as Mme Boll. I potted up the cutting-grown plant last fall. This is the second blooming, and it's getting to a nice size now. Very fragrant! Before I knew what it was, I was calling it "Rose parfumée mystérieuse".

The original bush came with the house. It's history is a mystery.

I bought these lily bulbs as "Stargazer". Which they are definitely not! But the fragrance wafts across the kitchen garden, very nice.

It's nice to see bumblebees on the echinacea.

Something not pink-ish, but yellow. Lots of bees today on the squash blossoms. Bumblebees and honeybees. I want to believe, I am helping to perpetuate the species by growing kits of pesticide-free bushes, trees, flowers for pollen and nectar.

Last pic the bright yellow fancy daylily with the bee flying by as it’s shadow is reflected on the flower petal. Nice photo catch.
In my head I’m singing the lyrics to - Bee and my shadow… all alone and feelin blue… Bee and my shadow… strolling down the avenue….:stew2:
