    Zigs Yes you saw walnuts…The Oregon walnut tree is Jugulars hindsi , also known as the Northern California black walnut or Hinds's black walnut. It is native to California and Oregon. The walnuts and leaves from the posted pic above you correctly ID’d as a walnut and the tree is huge and grows next door among the wild forest.

    JD what a group of beautiful peppers. Stuffed is a fine dish… set the table for a extra guest..:)

    Well it seems this Doug fir seedling is still thriving on the chimney stacks. Any ideas how to kill it before the roots cause damage to the site ?

    @Jersey Devil I'm drooling over those gorgeous green peppers you grew !! Stuffed peppers are a fav of mine .

    @Pacnorwest A drone with a grabber attached !!:)

    :smt044:smt044:smt044 Ooopsey !! Sorry, I couldn't help myself !! :smt005

    Hire a man with a ladder and get him to pull it out and fill the gap with some mortar. That's what I would do. My chimney has a rounded cap and a screen so no birds can get in or seeds take hold up there.

    Edited! Not acai berries. They are aronia.

    Aronia berris. I've been working on moving my beautiful berries out into more sun. Got the 2 aronia plants moved and added 3 more I'd propagated in spring. Doing well.

    The daylilys here are having a good year as always.

    The white verbascum (mullien)

    A couple of yarrow pics. Love yarrow!
