78°f - 98 with heat advisory of 109°f I got my first load of laundry out early and have my second in the washer now. With it being so hot out two loads should easily be dry by 2 pm .

78°f - 100, heat index 110, again. Too hot to do much outside just a bit of weeding the raised beds @7 - 7:30 and inside I've been since except for taking Rags out. Even she has no interest in staying outside !!

Last night at 8:45 pm, mind you it was dark outside, it was 97°f Today...they say ... it will only get up to 92 (yeah, right, like I'm gonna believe that !! ) because it is supposed to rain around 2 pm. I do not believe that. We are still in a heat dome. Rain ain't happening, but, of course I could be wrong and we will just have to see.
We finally got a short light shower about an hour ago which was perfectly timed as we were just finishing off and collecting up after a great day doing tasks in the garden. Still feeling quite warm and also muggy now .
