The bright start that we are currently enjoying is not forecast to last. The strong winds begin to pick up by late afternoon , I really don't mind most weather conditions but strong winds always bother me because of all the trees in close proximity to our property.

I think you'll find that most of us have the warning @Logan, but it's in place until 18.00 hrs I'm afraid to tell you and not 6.00.
Yes i know and i made a mistake it's 18.00hrs instead of 6.00am. Rain started at 12pm now it's heavy rain and a moderate breeze from the south east temp 13c feels like 13c It will water the polyanthus in that I've planted.

We've had gusty winds since around 5pm yesterday but since early morning ( just after 4am when I woke up) it has calmed down. It's forecast to pick up again soon but not with winds as strong as before thankfully as we are out for most of the day. Off to see what, if any, damage has been done in the garden now.
58°f. for the low !! That's so good for cold season seed starting outdoors But, the high is still mid 80's, 85°f for today. So that high temp messes up lettuce, carrot and parsnip planting. We are supposed to get some rain in the next 24-48 hours. I hope so because some of my plants are not looking very perky !!
