Not sure if I should 'like ' that Pac as I haven't had a chance to convert your temps into Cs but will when I get home. Still dry here and mild ( haven't a clue of the actual temps) albeit on the cloudy side.
Oreti ,Here’s the conversion. 81F equals 27.2222C 56F equals 15.3333C I cheated and asked Siri.. I think that the UK temps are very similar to our temps here in the PNW , because most of the plants grown in your area are tipically the same as in my US growing zone 8b. We are located next to the Pacific Ocean coast and receive maritime weather and some weather patterns here in the PNW of the US are very similar to the UK. Most of the time I don’t cheat and look up C temps converted into F . I generally assume we have similar weather when temps posted in Celsius compared to US temps posted in Fahrenheit . Just because your garden is quite extensive and contains a huge selection of plants I see mostly in this growing zone of the US.

Oreti thank you for your explanation. Very interesting temps surrounding your area. Very much appreciate the information. The marine weather too is a factor I see in the maps shown. Makes a lot of sense to also include elevation. My garden is 800’ above sea level. We have cooler temps in winter with snow / ice and wind storms comin in from the Pacific Ocean. I guess you’d say this zone is a mixed bag according to zonal temps. But mostly living this close to the coast we are affected by El Niño when ocean temps are warm and La Niña when ocean temps are cooler. We range from hottest temps 101F =38.333 °C and coolest temps 15F to -9.4444 C. El Niño involves warmer-than-average surface waters in the central and eastern Pacific, weakening trade winds and causing more rainfall globally, while La Niña is its opposite, featuring cooler-than-average surface waters, stronger trade winds, and different global weather patterns, often bringing drought to eastern Pacific regions and heavy rains to the west. These opposing phases of the El Niño-Southern Oscillation (ENSO) system significantly influence global weather, climate, and ocean conditions. So far the Pro weather guessers have determined we will be in the La Niña winter. Wetter&cooler in the PNW than usual. Bah-Hum-bug.

I feel sorry for our youngest son today as he and his girlfriend have been staying in Greece and Cyprus for a few weeks with temps of 32C+ and today they return to a 16C London!!!! Same temps today for us too.
