Yes most of our Cox's are still on the tree too. We have picked all the Pears now and they are in storage in the garage. Also stored away are the Greensleves Apples.
Been too dull and dreary to make a video this week so I made a summary of this season's harvest instead
You did very well @Zigs. That sod wall is doing a treat !! I bet next year's harvest will be phenomenal when that wall gets even taller !!
Ta Annie Things are a lot better out of the Arctic wind Ta Pac I had my own veg round in the village 30 years ago
Today You can see the nectar dripping from the fig "eye" So sweet! Torn open. Red "innards" The last yellow squash. If it does 't rain, there may be more green ones. These are apples that @Sjoerd calls "Moonlight". I think. Here they are called "Golden treat ". So tasty!
Very jealous of your figs Daniel. When my daughter lived in Oregon for school, a neighbour had figs that dripped over her fence. She asked permission and then very graciously enjoyed fresh figs for the first and only time in her life. She can still taste them.
Daniel— great-looking figs. The insides to indeed look tasty. Cool to see your yellow apples. We had to give away about half of both types of our apple types. We have oodles of applesauce in the pantry. Most people here do like the taste of our Moonlight apples. Zigs— haha. It does look good though. My slugs and snails are hibernating now. They had better go deep because serious wind and rain is on the way.
Good figs Daniel I forgot about our figs, didn't see them till the wasps were eating them Ta Sjoerd Chucking it down here too now
