We had pesto with pasta. I make batches when the basil is in season, split the batch in half and freeze it. Luckily my granddaughter loves it. Then we had mini eclairs for dessert.
Leek curry casserole. There is a layer of tatties with onion, ground beef and bell peppers between another layer of spuds.
After today’s Paprika harvest we will have a dish called, Kapucijnerschotel. The primary ingredients are purple-podded peas, ground beef and paprika’s. We buy a mix and then cook it all up together. I can hardly wait. p.s. I may post a piccy later.

Cauliflower, home fries and sukadelapjes ….annnnd for pudding, triple choc ice cream, which I am holding onto very tightly:
Sucadelajpes: Pieces of beef like stew meat. I had, yesterday at lunch, a Peruvian dish. A friend and I went across the border to Montecello Florida to a restaurant that cooks only South American dishes. I had Salchipapa. It is sliced beef sausage pieces grilled then layered over french fries, (chips to you Brits) with grated cheeses, some sort of pink sauce and another really, really good green garlic sauce drizzled over and amongst the whole dish. For me it is three meals !! They bring you a huge platter of it and call it "an appetizer" !! I tried to get the recipe for the green garlic sauce. The waitress told me that the Cook refuses even to tell her what's in it !!
It is very tasty @Sjoerd . I am on my third helping. I just heat up a potion in the oven and it tastes just as good as when it was served to me.
