Yesterday my high was 77°f and the low 53. This morning it was 49°f for the low. I have been leaving my dining room window wide open all night for my brassicas to enjoy the chill. This morning at 8 am it was 64 inside my house. Great sleeping weather !! 82°f for the high, though.

Nice day ahead, so we are off out, tomorrow looks a tad dodgy with gusty winds and rain so the laundry is ready to be hung out.

We are said to have gusty winds with spells of rain.....and yes we do have them ...but ..... are the forecasters becoming ....whimps(?) and aiming to turn the nation into them as well.. It's not THAT bad out there, it's nothing new as we always have had and always will have periods of bad weather......just put either warmer clothes or waterproofs on and get on with life or if you must....stay indoors. The British are renown for their love of weather conversation !!! I have just altered my weekly plans to suit the weather, instead of housework and bed stripping at the weekend they are being done today and as the weekend is looking quite promising it's now been dedicated to attending to the garden. I know that obviously some areas will be hit harder but just a bit of tweaking here and there allows life to carry on without any major issues.
