When not attending to garden tasks what other things have filled your day?

Had a check through my credit card statements on-line. Although I keep a spreadsheet, that mirrors my account, I check on-line each week for anything unusual. Today I found five pending transactions for Tesco with a "nil" amount and one for £24.
I've not bought anything from Tescos for weeks.
So I contacted my card company, which their automated responses was indicating that their computer was "turning somersaults," trying to avoid putting me through to real person. But eventually it did.
The upshot was that after talking to a helpful woman, probably working from home in the foothills of the Himalayas, who eventually put my through to someone in England who could speak "proper English," the card has been cancelled and I'll get a new one in.......wait for it...seven days!
It's a bit of an inconvenience, as I'll have to use my debit card for a few days, or pay with cash. It will also mean that I'll have to change the card number, with those few companies I allow to store it, like Paypal, next time I want to buy something on-line.
