    I am new to gardening and I started my new raised garden just this summer.I started with some veggies and flowers. They did so well this season. Im looking for new ideas for the fall and winter.

    Welcome :smt039. This is a great place to start especially with a lot of seasoned gardeners to help guide you for growing a garden in your growing zone and where - ie: state ? country ? - location .

    First thing we need to know what growing zone you are in. This will help with planting the right plants that will thrive in your zone.

    Welcome to the forum !!
    Those are very nice cedar planters !! Did you get the ones with legs or the ones that sit on the groung ?. I have metal ones, they were less expensive.

    @Clay_22 Yeap selling wooden raised beds. Got me on that one..the stinkers selling products but later adding business site. That site wasn’t there at first when I answered the post. www site added later . Sneaky …total waist of time and resources.

    I've got a raised bed that is filled with sand and gravel. I keep my outside cacti in it :D

    Opuntia’s opuntias opuntias…I think they look just super. Flowers and all. Once they set fruit they produce some flavorful fruit . The deer ate all of my opuntias… :(

    My potted cacti are dressed up for trick or treat.

    Slugs and Partridges eat the Opuntias here Pac :D
