Great pics Anniekay and Zigs. Such a joy to see blooms this time of year. Anniekay’s beautiful roses ( I see the bee) and the clementis - looks like one of mine - ‘Dr. Rupel’. White gardinias , and oh the lemons and persimmons ..oh my. Anniekay how lovely to not have to experience the cold dreary days of winter as your garden moves along with cold weather plants a bloomin . Teeters pics are lovely autumn trees and shrubs demonstrating the wispy grasses blowing in the wind. The garden pic appears to be setting the stage for winter soon. Beautiful full moon tonight to watch over your garden with the light of the moon to jazz up the garden one more time before winter arrives. Most of my garden is now fast asleep.
Thank you @Pacnorwest It gets cold here but not all day. Temps will drop into the low 20's for a few days here and there but only for a few hours in the middle of the night. Then, the sun comes up and it warms up in the day, at the very least it's in the 40's by noon.
I don't know the climate where most of you live but here in New Jersey its flat out four seasons pretty much equally. So by Nov.6th the pumpkins and mums rule the landscape. Not in my yard. Some pics of hangers ons. Never this much before at such a late date. I am hoping some stick around til Thanksgiving
Sun is so low and with all the trees I barely get a few hours sunlight but these guys don't mind...still getting flowers on Cayenne, Bells, and believe it or not, Tomatoes.
JD LUVING all your planters and flowers. So nice to see this time of year. My zone is 8B generally we have pretty much the same seasonal characters. 4 executed seasons right on time . But one small difference. I am located up in the foothills and generally 3 weeks behind the Portland Oregon seasons. It’s called the Banana Belt … but no bananas growing here… name describes the half circle of mountains surrounding the area. Portland is at sea level and I am 800’ higher mostly stuck in the clouds all winter and snow . Even a later spring season around June is safe to plant outside without a worry of a sneaky frost popping up.
Must be some stunning landscape there. Are you close to the coast. Pictures of beaches in Oregon are amazing.
