Looking to add a handheld leaf blower to my inventory this year. I’ve usually stuck with Echo since we’ve got a dealer nearby and they’ve treated me well. But I’m open to switching brands if the quality’s better.
Anyone using a Novorik leaf blower or something else they really like? I’m not looking for a backpack model—at least not yet
    Thanks for any input!

I don't know if you have "EGO" products in the UK but that is a battery operated company. I have the EGO blower and EGO 21" self-propelled mower. These are tough products. My mower I put through hell, mow tall grass, ram it into stuff and it never quits.

The blower takes the same batteries and I didn't have to recharge the battery for a year. I blow out my shed, the walks and both porches with it. It has a boost button onit and a tuner button you can turn to increase the power to how much force you need.

That pic is the blower that I have used for over 14 years. Very powerful or can also be mild. Battery is about 14 years old and it’s a fast charge. Especially when deciduous tree loose their leaves all at once. The odd thing about the price of a new one today is twice what I paid for mine 14 years ago.

My favorite rule on leaf blowers is why get one when you can have 2 at twice the price! This is for real need though. We have soo many trees, and three blowers, 2 handheld and one backpack. The backpack comes out in either fall or special projects\heavy wind. One handheld, the newer one is like a bi or tri weekly broom workhorse. The second handheld is just my old one I got running again but has proven useful in times like this year when the mast crop of acorns is outstanding and you could use a shovel to pick up the piles that get blown off the driveway and walks. And it is pretty cool to have one in each hand aimed in two directions at once. It makes cleanup a fast walk.

These are stihl gas blower btw. I bought some 2 echo 58v and they are fine but my wife hates the high pitched turbine whine. So I use them at work in the warehouse.
