Today I got these beauties! :stew1:

    So what's your latest purchase?

    Please share pictures.
    So everyone can enjoy! :smt045

Seeds also count as a purchase.
    And so do trees.

Flaming Katy, (Kalanchoe Blossfeldiana Poelln) - From the island nation of Madagascar.

That anyway is what my plant ID app in the phone says. So this could be wrong.

It's really a very lovely looking plant!

It was labelled Maihueniopsis hoffmanii but I can't find any such plant. I'll see the bloke at this months Cactus club and get him in an armlock until he confesses :D

The plant ID app in my phone suggests that it's probably a Tephrocactus Aoracanthus (Lem), Maihueniopusis Golmerata (Hew), Cumulopuntia Boliviana (Salm-Dyck), or a Opuntia Fragilis (Nutt) - Whatever that means.

You'd think that all this power and technology squeezed into our smartphones, would make life a little easier - But... :chuckle:

It is very beautiful, and I like the long thorns. But I don't know how big it would get, or how quickly - I love all plants which can he used as a natural barrier against human intruders.

It has anti cancer properties. So a useful thing to have around in everyone's garden.

Made me think of an "insensitive plant". One that laughs at you when you hurt yourself :D

That's not a description of a plant. That's what fits the description of a sibling! :snicker:

Touch Me Not supplier turned out to be a fraud. As he sent me a tin can of olive oil, not the plant I asked for - He's either homelessly incompetent, or demented as well as blind.

So I confronted him on chat, blocked him also. Plus I returned the item for a refund, (which has been approved).
