Wow Sjoerd toting heavy bags of leaves balanced well on each arm . Walking can be satisfying while exercising
out in the garden. Beats going to an enclosed Gym running in circles on an inside track. Good job prepping for next season .

Oreti so much rain and also gutter maintenance . Hope after your clean up that the gutters are in fine working condition.

Annie keeping those seedlings well covered . Nice job.

Today was a quick run thru the garden and pastures … still picking up branches and checking for critters. I cleaned out a 35’x60’ area from tree and pine needles blocking those sneaky ground squirrels from entry also set a trap. I saw a few new ground openings that are well those ground critters. Stopping them in their tracks .

Annie— they are good aren’t they. Your crumble sounds good too. I used to eat something called, “cobbler” when I was over there that was crummy as well…with a dollop of whipped cream.

    Pac—cheers.
You know, your place is so large,I can imagine that you have physical work the whole year round.

Other than a few odds and ends, I have not gotten much done in my garden.

I have been waiting on a tech call back (the first time they called a wrong number sort of) for a website I take care of. The website has been remodeled, and I was slow, so all of my previous content is gone. :( :( :( I have to completely re-do the website, and all the techy stuff is "Chinese" to me. I can open the website, and there is a blank slate with only a tiny fraction of what was there (name and physical address, phone number). None of it makes any sense to me. I cannot make anything do what it seems to say. I have been waiting on one of the techs to get back with me to help out. When I first started doing the website, it was easy to figure out how to set up the backgrounds and content. But it has been remodeled a few times.... My oDS is super techy and has a lot of college and over 40 years experience, so IF I don't hear from an official tech support person soon, I intend to snag my son to help me next time he is home from trucking. He is supposed to be home again sometime this week.

    Merry Christmas.

I might clear some fallen azalea leaves from the front garden, later today.
Did some shopping this morning, the usual madness of trying to find somewhere to park. Anyway all done and dusted until after Christmas.

The engineer who attended to our combi boiler, wasn't enamoured of my carbon monoxide detector, which is stuck on the removable tiled fillet under the boiler. It's been there so long, I really don't notice it that much.

So I've ordered the most popular one off eBay. It's £21, well worth the money. It has a lithium battery which will last ten years, they say.

I did not get the tech call yet, but they may be closed for Christmas?

I did FINALLY find a microscopic icon down in a corner of a lock, and when I clicked on it, I was able to get into the website and do some editing. Also some of my content is still there. That icon is smaller than a lower case o on here. I don't why millennials have to make things so tiny no one can SEE them? The original version had a link at the bottom of the pages for editing the site, and it was easily seen. A lot of the editing options are still in Chinese for me, but at least I can do some of it. I still want to change the background color. That yellowish purple on the old site looked like an old shiner. Now it is some grayish shade of teal. I want a bright aqua if I can get it. Or a lovely cornflower blue (no idea of its current name, but it was called that in the 1960s).
