    Zigs your brussel sprouts look really great. They are lovely lightly toasted in olive oil and garlic.

    Anniekay we cross posted. I have never grown them there mature level in this zone is a bit iffy.

    Zigs I get it they are a bit on the bitter side. Since I tried them roasted in garlic butter I luv them .i wonder are there different types of Brussels sprouts ?

    They also come in purple but only for home growing, not commercially. At least, I've never seen purple ones offered at the grocery store.

    I prefer the ones that go straight on the compost to fertilise next years Onions :D
