We have yet more rain on the way to make negotiating our lane even more difficult , a weather warning will be in place from this afternoon until tomorrow. We have dental checks to attend in our other nearby city this morning but can't walk the normal way to reach a bus stop so we are heading out earlier than planned to go on a different and longer route to catch a bus. So annoying but we definitely don't want to start our day off soaking wet.
Cute Witchdoctor Everything is ok here (fingers crossed). The only bad thing is the snow is like styrofoam. Horrible for making a snowman

The polar vortex has reached me. 22°f low and only 48 for the high. It was so windy yesterday that my match stick blinds on the back porch were flying all around, flapping against the windows while the wind chime was clattering and flying around. I had to roll them up before they got broken. I'm pretty sure my Key Lime, which came in a pot with my Meyer Lemon, is now just about dead. It's been in the ground for 5 years and, ya know, when I cut it to the ground, it's bound to shoot back up. I've never gotten a lime from it so, not a big loss.
Well the monster storm that has hit half of the US has sunk low enough to get ya. I’m so sorry I was really hoping you would get thru this once in a lifetime storm unscathed. Yard clean up is always a pain. Getting blind up I bet was a challenge. Wind storms can do a lot of damage. Also worry about the heating in an old home. We had a company come in and place insulation under the entire floor from the crawl space. Made a huge difference in warmth and heating bills. Sending good vibes your way.
Clay you guys got a few more inches than us, but at least it wasn't that ice they got more south. Brutal to deal with. Hope all is well there. We were up a little north of you this past fall and it was sad to see how low the water was there. I saw streams that were nothing but rockbed. Snow is tough to deal with but its gotta help with the creeks.
