Good Monday morning all. Currently -17°C and overcast. We had another snow event yesterday and overnight. I think its done snowing now, and I have a lot of plowing/shovelling to do! That will be todays exercise!

Happy Monday everyone. It is a bit of a slower paced day today, which is welcome. We were able to shift from running both woodstoves to just the one main stove today. Not getting up during the night or early AM to do fires will be nice tonight.

I'm happily exploring the two new seed companies that @Netty suggested. ( self control....self control....). I'm going to try growing pole beans again for the first time in many years. I usually lose them to frost at the end of August, but I'm hoping if I grow them on the high deck in front of the house, I can train them along the railing and maybe gain a few weeks of growing time. I'm the only "bean eater" in the family (unless they are pickled of course), so I don't need too many plants.

It's fun to search the sites and day dream of spring.

One of our children gifted us an Aura digital picture frame. I have loaded all of our old family photos and they have been adding theirs. It is like watching television as we sit and have our tea, enjoying the life time photos. Where does the time go?
