@Oreti that's good about your friend's husband, yes it's the same that my hubby has. He can take the bandage off tomorrow and keep the dressing on. I have to keep an eye on him just incase he does something that he shouldn't.

@Doghouse Riley good that you sorted your heater delivery.

My friend does Avon and every time she gets a parcel delivered by Evri the box is always damaged.

Gosh do they still have Avon reps that go door to door!!!
I use to sell Avon...40 years ago and Tupperware.

Avon isn't the same now they seem to sell a bit of everything....shame. The good thing is you can buy the make -up/ beauty products in many Superdrug shops now ....I still use a few of their items and buy them there.

I finally got round to cleaning my golf clubs and trolley, now my hot water supply is again available in the garage. I have to do it in the drive as it makes such a mess.

@Oreti yes can still get Avon door to door, but it's not really worth it because the reps have to buy the bags, order forms, brochures and have to pay a small delivery charge. My friend Marion does it, can order online from Avon or Amazon but they sell different things that's in the brochures and get offers in the brochures. I don't go into town and it helps Marion . this is anyone who doesn't know Avon.

    Busy morning.

Watched the women's tennis final. Pleased with the result. Rybakina beat Sabalenka 6-4, 4-6, 6-4.
Such an understated celebration. If it had gone the other way, "there'd have been such drama."

Dragged the money from eBay into my current account for my sold tuner/amp.
Read the gas and leccy readings then posted them on the website.
Took my Aldon car coat I've had for twenty years into a repairer's for a new zip.
It's still in perfect condition otherwise. I'd buy a new one if I could find one I liked, but couldn't find any.
Did a bit of shopping, did one load of washing.
My car said there were "updated available." So I checked. It was wrong, when I checked on-line, there weren't any, the smarty pants doesn't get everything right.
The car key fob batteries I'd ordered were delivered, so both fobs are now up to date.
Backed up files on my lap top to the separate hard drive and a couple of USB sticks.
    Time to do lunch.

eBay "woke up and smelled the coffee" once vendors and purchasers found other ways of buying things on-line. I'd not sold anything on eBay for quite a few years.
I use eBay a lot for new stuff. Like my water heater, I'll only buy it if the postage is free.
I'm not sure if the commission is included in the purchase price by commercial vendors, or they are billed separately.

"Back in the day," eBay charged private vendors like me, to list an Item. The purchaser would have to pay the postage. Then eBay looking to make more profit, started charging the vendor commission on the postage costs!
Now, private vendors don't pay to have an item listed. If it doesn't sell, it gets automatically re-listed after a month, until it's sold.
The buyer has to pay the postage and the commission, so the vendor gets exactly the price for which it was sold.
After delivery, you can claim the money two days later and it's an immediate transfer to your bank account.

Top to bottom house chores today, the price paid for so many days out during the week as I don't have time..or energy to do daily vacuuming and dusting. Hopefully it will be easier when I have more days at home in the garden come Spring/ Summer time.
    Won't make any promises though.:whistling:;):chuckle:

Yesterday hubby had a phone call from the hospital asking how he was getting on with his arm after surgery. He was told to use ice packs on it to help with the bruising for 20 minutes every hour, so that's what I've been doing. As well as making sure that he takes paracetamol for any pain.
Today our friend Marion took us shopping at Sainsbury's. I just pushed the trolley and put the things in the bags, he likes to use the scanner for the barcode.Marion had to fill her car with diesel and we insisted to contribute to it, she didn't want us to but we did.

Yesterday i was going to use the microwave, i put some baked beans in a bowl and opened the microwave door put it in closed the door. Set the power and pressed the start button. I kept pressing it but it wouldn't start. Told hubby and he tried it and put the time in first and started it no problem. I tried it and it still wouldn't work because i did the same things, then realised what i was doing wrong, how many times a day do i use the microwave.

We've a basic microwave, we call it, "the pie warmer."
It has only two controls, power and time. It's always left on the highest power setting, so the timer is really just for "off and on."
Our Bosch oven has a variety of settings including a timer. We just use "fan" and set the temperature. It's all ovens ever needed as long as you keep an eye on it whilst it's cooking.
But I'm glad our Ninja air-fryer, "tells me what to do."

I've had an airfryer for two years now and still haven't used it.
Haven't even opened the instruction booklet !! :p

My microwave has a light that comes on when it's cooking and if you don't shut the door all the way after rmoving the food, the light stays on. I don't pay attention and half the time I don't shut the door all the way.
