popular What are you having for dinner ??

Made my second effort of tamales.

This time the filling was sautéed mushrooms, onions, chilis, with some cumin, and I mixed in some added chopped chipotles in adobo sauce.



These were quite tasty. I think I still need to work on the cornmeal masa, which wasn't as light as I hoped. Still, quite a treat.

Chicken rollade, parsnip purée and 2coloured spekbonen.

 

Tagliatelle with a cream sauce using onions, Swiss chard, diced meat and champignons. I am looking forward to this.

 

We call those egg noodles in the States. I love egg noodles.!!

 

Oh, sorry— my Bride switched pasta at the last minute— she used penne.


Still tasty though. “Egg noodles” huh? Oké. Thanks.
I lurve them as well. Even if they only hsve butter on them.

 

Our weather has justly earned us....comfort food today. Pasta Bolognese with a mixed salad.
It definately 'hit the spot'
