It's in the sixties but boy, the air quality is awful !! We are covered in a layer of smoke. No idea where it's coming from but you can see and smell it and it bothers your eyes. I hope it clears out by morning.
Anniekay I heard on the news that the smoky hazy conditions are from agricultural burns driven by winds and dry conditions reducing quality of air conditions. Wear a mask if outside. Living in an agricultural zone here to we also have similar conditions. I have to block the roof vents and close the fireplace drafts even the plumbing air vents. It stinks and burns eyes as well as can cause congestion and make the animals outside sick especially if down stream from the burn.
Good morning all, misty and a moderate breeze temp 4c to 9c Precipitation 0% Sunrise 7.45 Sunset 17.00
Whoo hooo !!! It's dry and dare I say it......bright looking outside !!!! Laundry is already out and we're just about to head out for the day too. Keeping fingers crossed they have our forecast for today correct..
Beautiful weather today sat out by the waterfront in the city. Laundry should be dry . Back to normal tomorrow...weather warning for rain in place all day until midnight. Makes today extra special.
The walk back down our lane around 4:30pm. Still sunny....fabulous day. 9C ( feels like 6C) Pleased to report all the laundry was well aired and dry.
Sounds like your walking lane and weather was just what the doc ordered. Lots of smiles and happiness sent your way. Same weather in the PNW today.
Certainly was Pac. Had to make the most of it, as it stands at the moment we are forecast rain for the next 2 weeks......just hoping they've got it wrong.
Perhaps a change of what we grow. Watercress. Hydroponics etc. Not long ago. It was suggested, we all go Mediterranean.
Love listening to her accent on your weather channel. Stay warm and dry the weather’s goin into a deep depression.
Good morning all, light rain and the a moderate breeze temp 6c to 6c Precipitation 71% Sunrise 7.43 Sunset 17.01 Thank you Pacnorwest and you too.
Gloomy as is the new norm. I had hoped upon hope that our weather warning would have magically disappeared overnight....but it hasn't and is still hanging around until midnight. Meeting friends for a cinema trip at lunchtime so no doubt we'll get another soaking.
