We have had a few short breaks from the rain this evening but it's raining again now. The good news is the weather warning has finally been lifted and the predicted thundery showers for tomorrow have vanished.

Hopefully a better day allowing for some longed for hours out in the garden today. We will have a continuing stream of intermittent rain today but I will be out there inbetween the bursts. The bigger pic.. Our forecast for today, with the reappearance of those thundery showers once again.

40°f low. We're havin' a heatwave !! 63 for the high..One more night, tonight below freezing- 30°f and then two weeks with nights above freezing predicted...unless they modify it. So, I'm a happy camper !!.

Isn't rain great...when you really need it!!II It came down this morning and rinsed the soap suds off from the greenhouse for me just before lunch. This afternoon I prepared a batch of seed trays with the compost that I sifted yesterday . They are now stacked away indoors to warm up. On the whole, apart from getting a bit wet at times , today's weather has been much better that I had anticipated........for this time of year. Showers have been well spaced out and easily planned around. We have another weather warning for rain tomorrow though.
