Not that I can read the ck list … I can assume it’s all the veggies preparation done from last season harvest. Looks quite extensive. Very accomplished veggie grower especially tomatoes.
We have something similar for these two freezers in the garage. But "me being me," It's on a proforma I typed out on my laptop and printed off a few copies. Every few weeks I do, "a stock and date code check" and start a new one.
snijbiet =chard tuinboon- broad bean bieten= beets Rakkers= came out as Lads ?. Runners= came out as Runner ??? Spekboon=Runner bean Strab box came out the same ?? Prei= Leeks Pastinaak=Parsnip Strab Cauli=Cauliflower I don't keep track of anything but my bank account !!
I do that, I keep rolling Open Office spread-sheets mirroring both my bank and credit card accounts. I set myself a financial budget each year. I was used to setting and working to budgets in my job. Theoretically, if I keep to the (generous) expenditure targets, I've a pretty good idea on 1st of January, what my financial position will be on 31st December. I'm never far out. Of course unlike at work, where agreed budgets were set in stone, I can always adjust the budget to accommodate one of my wife's, "What I thought was......" suggestions.
Have all my stuff on a my computer spread sheet with accts , PW, monthly automatic payments , emergency account, data to each bank account, medical data & investment data along with gathering tax data. And notes.
Rakkers are a type of French climbing bean. Runners are Runner Beans (Or Pronkbonen) Spekbonen are not runner beans. I have never known the English word for this type of bean. That Strab Box is syrawberry box, frozen and ready to make jam with. Pac— thanks a million. Riley— good work. Impressive.
spekboonen Snap beans !! I knew I'd find it eventually. They say it translates to bacon bean and they are cooked with bacon by some people.
Snap beans. Oké then. Bacon beans is a literal translation for spekbonen. I have no idea why we call them that. I do not know ant Dutch people that eat that type of beans with bacon. Oh well. I do like them as a variant. I have to have my beans. Haha. I love growing them and eating them. I could eat them every day. Thanks again for helping me with the English name for spekbonen. You are a gem.
We keep a good track on all things, but not necessarily all get the same treatment. The Freezers and Fridge just get a rummage through once a week. We find it pretty easy to keep an eye on them without any lists.
