Cleaned the diesel injector nozzles. And refurbished/rebuilt the diesel pump too.

These are the injector nozzles, now cleaned up and working as they should.

    Diesel pump disassembled and overhauled.

Finally took it to the service center, and had it tuned perfectly at the test bench - Before reinstalling it back into my car.

Now I have a fully functional car again! Which is EMP proof, as well as resistant to nuclear fallout, (thanks to my modifications and upgrades).

    I've been quite busy.

The other strip light arrived yesterday afternoon when I'd come home after playing golf.

It didn't take long to put it up. The switch is attached to the back of the top pelmet. There's a double socket at the back of the top of the unit which can't be seen.

I wouldn't want these lights anywhere where they could be seen all the time, but I think they're OK when people have them behind a pelmet above a kitchen counter top.

My wife saw this on "her" shopping channel a couple of days ago and asked me to buy it.
    It arrived this morning.

It's for making "toasties" in a microwave. It'll be ideal for her to use, particularly on the days when I'm playing golf. Because of her disability, although she wants to do things for herself, there's not a lot she can do for her lunch, when she's on her own.
It's usually a Cupasoup and some cheese and biscuits.

    It wasn't expensive.

I have a similar sandwich appliance , it’s much larger and plugs into the wall sort of like a waffle maker but smaller. Never seen one for a micro wave. Very clever and easy. These appliances make super sandwiches like ham, cheese , tomato lettuce place in bottom of appliance and slowly place the top over the entire sandwich ,special handle to slowly squish the sandwich as it toasts the bread . and warms the entire sandwich up. My fav sandwich is the Monte Cristo - made with ham, cheese, mayo, egg, cream cheese, nutmeg & outside smeared in clarified butter, toasted to perfection.

You can't put anything metal in a microwave. The yellow and grey bits are a sort of "rubbery" plastic/ The black bits are hard.
This thing is only slightly larger than a slice of bread.

She's got some similar small soft black trays and containers that you can use in the oven to cook stuff at 200c.
