    Late evenings I am at the computer. No longer having a working Hi Fi setup, I am grateful for YouTube. So my interest in music, IMO covers a wide spectrum. All my life I have longed to be able to play piano. Even in the dark. I spent time, 'plink plonking' one handed on the ivories. much as I tried, my left hand simply wasn't interested.

    So YouTube comes to my rescue. Here I have discovered. The Maestro & the European Pop Orchestra. Great. Then orchestral and piano music. 'Lucy, the blind teenager. pianist Fantastic. Forgive, but I could easily write a new forum based on me and my love for music.

    So sorry for being a bore.

    I find it a bit sad for a lot vintage audio enthusiasts.
    They find and restore old radios like these, with beautifully made wooden cabinets.

    But the radio stations they were designed to receive are fast disappearing.

    I've been listening to this. I've a few of her CDs but I'd not heard this before.

    It's been recorded for over a century at various tempos, by "the world and his wife," from Ella Fitzgerald to Django Reinhardt.
    Even Joe Brown and Bruce Springsteen recorded it!

    I like it by Diana Krall, as it's a bit of an homage to Django Reinhardt and Stephane Grappelli and their, "Hot Club of France," era.

    I don't know if I should post what I'm listening to over here or not... There's some new Artificial Intelligence around, which is mimicking human voice perfectly - So some twisted genius out there has made it sing songs, in different styles. Songs which never existed. They are also making AI come up with lyrics too.

    Like this one in 1940's retro style, which might actually give me a hernia from laughter - It's literally so vulgar, that no decent place will ever play it in public.

    But so should I post it here?
    Or not?

    Or why don't you (those of you who really want to) search for it yourselves - By putting in these keywords below in the search.

    "Wine Me, Dine Me, [ offending 2 digit number redacted ] Me (Banned 1940s Song) By Anita [ offending name redacted ] - Hit Songs of the 40s"

    :snicker: :rofl::smt044

    That entire freaking YouTube channel is full of such nonsense - Works great when it comes to offending your entire neighborhood.

    :smt005

    [ No disrespect or offence to anyone, it's just some twisted humor. Which is why I didn't post the link. So anyone who doesn't want to see or listen, just ignore ]...
