Sometimes in the winter here, you can forget that there will be growth and harvesting. When I need reassuring, I roll out a couple pics. Thay speak for themselves:
S-H— We made concentrate with those. I believe that we may have too many jars of the stuff in the pantry. We shall see. Glad you liked the sight of those.
Yum @Sjoerd . I do the same too but tend to include more of the flowers that were raised from seeds that year. They inspire me and transport me back to a warm garden filled with blooms and the sound of buzzing bees.....my piece of heaven on earth.

Annie— that is sweet. Cheers Loggie. That is a nice thing to say. Great pic, Zigs. S-H— I did not save the seeds. I have more seeds in the packets. Also, I do not save them because they often become cross-fertilised, giving me something that is different.
We have saved the seeds from a few of ours, got a marrow in the kitchen that we'll use the seeds from and I've got Chillies and Peppers from last year's seeds on the go. Like Sjoerd says though, they might not come true to type. But like JD says, they'll be alright with a bit of salt
