Quilting, continued.

    I saw a wall hanging like this at the craft store. I decided to make one as a Chinese New Year gift.

    It's not much piecework - just the red and golden bordering fabrics. The center floral image is a print.

    Next it needs to be quilted and bound. I took it to a long arm quilter who does quilts of valor, to quilt. I could, but it will take too much time. I will do the binding, with a black print with small golden calligraphy pattern.

    Daniel— mate, that is stunning. Did you use a panel for this one as well. It really is a remarkable bit of work. Chapeau. What a talented guy you are.

    Yes, the pain part, with peonies and chrysanthemums and pagodas, is a panel. I can't take credit for those. So it really isn't a lot on my part, compared to my other quilts.

    That's all of the panels for me now. Next is back to piecework again.
