I. hate. those. pods. As a barefoot child I quickly learned what sweetgum tree pods felt like to step upon. Now I realize where Legos got their inspiration.

Looks more like you'd need a suit of armor !!

 

Non issue. Those needles look like mother nature has ill intent. The sweet gum pods look round. Legos look plastic and toylike. They suck you in and then hurt your feet.
