Zigs I’ll take two of each. I luv cacti. Wow you have a huge inventory. :setc_005: Have a good time at the next show…great idea showing a vid on cacti when not looking.

“Just one more thing”… the yellow cacti flower… you should like Columbo :D

I'll get them packed up for you Pac :D

You got me there Maam, you noticed they were all flowering before the show. If they'd been in the unheated cactus house then they should have still been in bud. This means someone must have stored the body in there and turned the heating up to make it look like the deceased had been dead for longer than they actually had. Thereby giving me an alibi for the previous Tuesday when I was meant to be in Tulsa and not at a submarine fitters convention in Alabama

Not a cactus this time but a Euphorbia mammillaris "Corn Cob"

    DSC04470.JPG

I keep a few of them as they're usually part of the Annual competition and you loose points if you've got nothing to enter.

I've taken a few cuttings off it, just put them into pure grit and hope they root up like cacti do.

If anyone knows any better then let me know as they aren't my usuall thing :)

I've got a few other Euphorbias, some are rescues and others presents.

I have to keep one in the cage for safety, it's one of the most dangerous plants on the planet - Euphorbia resinifera

    DSC04487.JPG

It contains resiniferatoxin, 10,000 times stronger than the hottest peppers.

On the Scoville scale it registers 16,000,000.000

    That's 16 billion SHU :setc_008:

People have been driven mad by the heat of it :smt119
