It's too windy to do anything today, it's very gusty winds.

Nothing much today, as I've housework mostly laundry and vacuuming and shopping to do.
But as rain and high winds are forecast for this afternoon, I've moved the two tree azaleas which are quite bushy, over to the side of the tea-house, to give them some shelter, just in case.
I've also mounted the third trail cam to cover the other hedgehog doorway.
It's not all go, when I come back from shopping there's golf and later tennis to watch on TV.

    Hiya Oreti,

Great to see you, albeit an abbreviated visit.
It is a busy time of the season. I enjoy your posts with all the blooming components that you show us.

    Take good care of yourself.

After the rain stopped and the wind, ( which we had quite a bit of, ) subsided, I got working on the borders in front of my house. The weeds grow, well, like weeds down here in winter and I let them go way too long. So much so that my day lillies were burried underneath. So, I spent 5 hours on that section, weeding, transplanting day lillies, adding compost and fertilizer to the beds.

I got 95% done. There is still a 1' x 3' long section with a total mat of dichondra all through the mulch. I love the dichondra in my grass because it only gets about an inch high but, it will find a way into the garden beds and if you leave a tiny speck of root in there, before you know it, it's formed another big ugly mat AND, twines into, around and under the roots of all your plants.

Still can't upload pictures and I did what Pac and everyone else said to do, still no change.

Anniekay you work so hard in your garden as all Stewbies do on this garden site. Weeds are always everyone’s nightmare & a huge intrusion on our time . I’d rather be cleaning out the barn stalls than pulling weeds. I consider weeds a necessary evil much like house cleaning.

I have been unable to log on Gardenstew again this morning . Tried all my tricks, nothing worked . So just tried again at 5PM and here we are and finally logged in… when just a few hours ago nothing worked to recover this garden site .

Just so everyone knows I’m having a lot of trouble logging on to this site almost every day over the past few months. Just letting you all know. It’s not that I am ignoring anyone, it’s because I have a great deal of difficulty
logging on to this garden site. I think I’m either losing my marbles or the internet is. I miss seeing all your morning & daily posts. I have even taken to posting my weather posts early 2am mornings when if I can log in to be sure it’s posted for the over the pond Stewbies, especially since sometimes I can’t log on at normal times.

Very odd issue where as l can log onto other sites but this site is getting much worse by the week in my experience.
So hang in there if I’m a bit late… I will not give up because a lot of your posts and pics are very important. Especially since I’m a visual gardener I luv reading about your daily gardening experiences and the pics of all your spring blooms and veggie seedlings coming up soon for this season.

Me too, sometimes I get that "click here if the site does not redirect" or something to that extent and the hourglass still shows up every time I try posting pics.

It’s a tricky issue and frustrating when logging on is so difficult or trying to upload a pic. Unfortunately it’s getting worse and I hope it will sort itself out. Maybe @Frank can give us some pointers why logging on is so difficult lately?
I have no issues logging on other sites only this site . Also once I log on to this site I have no issues to upload pics . It seems to be a nefarious issue at times and difficult to pin point why this keeps happening and continues to become difficult from this end.

Our roads are flooded downstream and trees are down across roads and power lines , a lot of people without power. And over the last few days we have had over 6” of rain in some of the lower elevations and rivers are out if their banks from the atmospheric river storm.
We haven’t floated away yet and we still have power. Just super soggy realestate . Haven’t been out in the garden for nearly a week due to this storm.
