Thank ‘YOU ALL’ for the compliments. AND adore all the Stewbies posts of flowers and plants for the early spring season. Google said To fix uploading pics , try resizing images, small-medium-large over 2.9Mb- usually the sizes accepted,(full size is way too many bites ) clearing browser cache, to many windows opened at the same time can also slow down the browser to load and cause the unable to load error notice to pop up, or using a different browser - user upload notice error usually means you need to make your picture smaller to upload otherwise it’s to many bites to upload. Go to pic library- then soze the pic to up load; here is my upload pic sizing photos at the photo library once the upload button is hit on the site goes to my photo library. These sizing options pop up once button to my pics in my library is also pressed and the below options popped up . Omy I hope I didn’t make it more confusing. Direction are not my strong suit. If you have a size option from your photo library this may help to resize the pic uploaded. This always happens to me when I have to many windows open at the same time or my computer was updated can sometimes change the procedure to upload pic slightly. Not every unloading system is the same. You could try to ask google the question for your picture upload procedure - for your particular computer ,the uploading process from the photo library - ask “why it’s not uploading.” And or weather can also be the culprit.
The advent of march means time for the daffs to show their faces: A few close-ups of their lovely countenances: I just love these springtime sweethearts. We pulled a few to take home, but they are actually meant to decorate the otherwise brown-and-grey lottie plots.
Are the images very large in file size or width / height? Our server has its limits in what it can automatically resize (RAM / memory constrained)
No, @Frank I always resize them as I did before this happened and I only have an issue on this forum. I get a white page with blue header telling me that photos can't be uploaded at this time with an hourglass with a spinning circle in the center of it.
@Anniekay when uploading pics I too have had same issues the past few months with this site. I generally end up trying to refresh the site - which generally doesn’t always work . The best solution in my experience is to end the post and log out of the site . Start over and upload the Gardenstew site again , but wait 5-10 minutes before staring to upload the site . Or change to a different site and come back later. Sometimes that works. Honestly it only happens just lately on this Gardenstew site only. It seems to get hung up some where over and over called a ‘hang or freeze’ which occurs when either a process or system ceases to respond to inputs. The best thing that worked for me is to log out of the site and log in later. Be sure all windows are closed running to many windows open at the same time is an issue they can be running commercials or utube & are the usual culprits. I sometimes wonder here in the PNW if the interference or freezes has something to do with the volcano erupting in the Pacific Ocean on the Hawaiian Islands. Lots of smoke going 10,000’ or more into the sky from the eruptions where wind patterns blows towards the US which can short circuit from the fine electrically charged ash especially if it becomes moist and we have been in a lot of rain storms during this event . Nothing is mentioned on the wether channels of course , but in my experience with the MOUNT HOOD volcano the wind patterns blew the entire blast of smoke across the entire US in 1980’s. Just things that make ya go mmmmmmm. I agree this seems to happen only on this site too. Sometimes I just walk away come back later until it will upload and log in to Gardenstew. Sometimes it takes hours or days. Hope it sorts out soon.
Thanks, @Pacnorwest I will give that a try. I wonder if some button got pushed when Frank did the fixes he had to do???
