Just checked the calender and yes this is only March 13, but then it is north Texas where the high temps have been hovering around 80 for the last 13 days.

Just two weeks ago the Blackeyed Susan were laying flat on the ground as they had been doing all winter

The Daylilies started coming up in Feb and just two weeks ago they were only about 2 inches tall, now the tallest ones are 6 inches tall.

The Dianthus in the tipsy pot stayed green all winter and has had buds since Dec, now they are opened.

I have three pots of petunias that are coming back, not from seed but like perennials they are coming from the same roots. I thought they were annuals. Sure hope these are the really dark purple ones.

Ever moved bulbs around so much that you lost track of what they would become? I had these Snowdrops in a couple of other places where they never bloomed. Moved them to this spot a couple of years ago and now they are blooming.

Two years ago I had this Chocolate Vine planted at the arbor, it suffered there for some reason. I put it in a pot on the back of the turtle frame that Lisa gave me and thought I had lost it last year in the drought.
This morning I was out taking these pictures and realized that it was covered with new leaves and the vines were coming on strong. Looked closer and found these beauties.

And in the race to see who sprouts first in the new bloom house, Morning Glory is the clear winner. But then it did have the advantage of being soaked in water for a couple of days (I forgot it was there) before being potted.

I sure like that tipsy pot! We've had a few days of warm weather, in the upper 50's. I have tulips poking their little leaves out but nothing like you have!!!

[IMG] WOW! Isn't it exciting how quickly things grow
in these early days of spring-like weather!?!

I'm noticing amazing changes between my first morning walk
and my last walk in the evening. :D

Same thing here, I go out to feed the birds in the morning and all the plants have grown overnight. When Randy and I go out back to sit in the late afternoon, everything is taller than it was that morning.
    It is just amazing.

Wow, spring is in full swing at your place. That dianthus is a Killer Red. Everything is really growing. I love the akebia vine. Mine is right up against the house in full shade. I love those soft colors and the birds love to nest in it. 8)
