Hubby went to the "junkyard from hell" and brought me home two excellent pieces. An old grinding wheel about the size of a big dinnerplate.

And a wonderful iron chairframe for me to mosaic another garden chair.

How cool! We have one of the grinding wheels too, i had a neat one at my old house stuck in my patio, someone had put it in the concrete , it came from a old mill next door. The new chair frame ,im sure will be fun for you to do up! Can't wait to see your finished work...

    here's ours

Great finds. I know the chair will turn out to be another gorgeous 'creation by bethie'. Got any ideas for it yet?
What plans do you have for the gringing stone?

I don't have any chair ideas yet. I'll have to drag it around a find a place it will look good and then glass it to go with the spot. I'm really full up here. I may go ahead and sell a chair. :(
I have a friend that the stone would look really good in her herb bed. If she oooh's and aaah's over it I may send it home with her. :)

I can see lots of potential with that grindwheel. Have you ever made a 'moving' project Bethie i.e. moving parts of some sort. A spinning mosaic maybe :)

Great finds Bethie. My question is how many oohs and aahs does it take to get one of your finds? I'm sure I could come up with quite a few.
