Cold again. 27 F. but feels much colder due to strong winds. Also does not help when yesterday was 60 F. Crazy, but the occasional 60 F is better than none at all. Should be an interesting spring, what with all the starting and stopping the bulbs have done. No one knows what to expect, since this has never happened before, certainly not in my lifetime. Yesterday I spied a fern coming up. This just doesn't happen here. Ferns don't come up till what? April? All the speculating is making for an interesting winter. We do all love to talk about the weather.

Well, after a damp and dreary day again today, this part of Essex has snow forecast for the start of next week! Just when I was thinking of planting my early spuds!

Really fresh day in Galway today. Took a walk to the shops this morning and I was taken aback by the gorgeous new smells in the air, I love it! Current temperature 8 deg C / 46 deg F.

It was only 20F today and high will be near 50F. We're going downhill to Phoenix. My sister from California will be at my sister's in Phoenix for just one day. It will be in upper 60's there or maybe 70's. My son who lives in Wisconsin got a winter storm this week. His high today will be -3F and his low will be -21. I wonder what Alley Opper's temperatures will be. He must be in that storm that hit the northeast. Dooley

The wind has finally quit trying to blow us away, but it hasn't warmed up much. Only going to be in the 50F's today. But, it is sunny. It makes you feel like going out anyway. Dooley

Winter is over I guess. Temp was below 32F all weekend but is in the upper 30's now and going up. There was an ice problem on bridges and overpasses, even tho the cities sanded them there were still those drivers who think they can drive highway speeds in any kind of weather. They are the ones who keep the tow trucks and repair shops in business.

Drivers here are the same Toni , a friend of mine owns a car body repair shop in the city and loves to see a nice frosty morning . The next day his shop is full of repair jobs  Its an ill wind that does not blow some good 8) Bugs

I thought it would be warm enough today. I went off with just a sweat-
shirt. The wind is back so I wished I had a heavier jacket. We went to
lunch with Dan and the temperature went down two degrees while we
were in the restaurant. Ugh! I'm definitely ready for summer, forget
    about spring. Dooley

FOGGY for the second day in a row.....cool, not rainy yet just drippy. I love it but I am in the minority when it comes to loving this kind of weather. We haven't seen the sun since Thursday afternoon and that doesn't bother me at all either. Chance of rain the next two days too.

Cold and rainy day in Dublin . No proper seasons , scientists are finding definate changes in the Gulf Stream which may account for it . The winters here in Ireland are getting milder and the summers wetter .Global warming ? :? Bugs
