I had seen colour a couple of days ago out of tyhe corner of my eye, but the weather's been so bad here of late that I hadn't actually taken the time to REALLY look.
    It's great...but it's too early (for here).

Oh WOW what a fantastic sight. :D I can't wait for the ones in our village to flower again!!! It seems soooo long since there was any colour around from our flowers.

what a great site to see. I should have some coming up at the end of winter but don't know now, the rabbits have chewed them down. Will have to wait and see.

When is the usual time for things to start greening up in your area? You had mentioned it was too early. Our weather has been 25-30 below 0 with the wind chill. -9 without it. Hard to even dream of spring here...

They usually come in Feb-March, but with the climatic changes in recent years it's been creeping foreward. It is a special source of worry where my fruit trees are concerned.

Wow Sjoerd, it sure does look like spring in your photo! I'm envious. I won't see any Crocus around here until the end of April.

Oh, the lovely, little darlings! I do hope you get an early and mild spring, so the insects can be out and about and do their job in your fruit trees, Sjoerd.

Thanks Droopy. I expect they will at this rate. I saw on the weather channel the the pollen index is abnormally high here at the moment.
--I thought that I felt a bit of itchiness in my eyes today and yesterday. That was why, I reckon.

It's hard for me to believe that it is spring somewhere with the weather we are having. Thanks for sharing your bit of color.
