Thank you both. The seeds are now in the baggy(Petunia's method) waiting to germinate. Will update you on how they are doing.
Sjoerd - I have no clue what I am going to do with the tulips. I only know I am not going to cut them. I hope they will come back again next year.

You can start with Canna Lily. They are very easy to grow and has beautiful flowers too. I started with that last year.
