Just this time last year we were waiting for the 1000th member to join GardenStew. Several of us had posted our guess as to what day it would happen and if I remember correctly Glenda and I were the closest since the day it happened was right between the two days we chose.

To relive the exciting moment on November 19, 2006 check out...:stew2:

This year we could very easily have 2600 members by the 19th.

Might one hope for 3000 by the end of the year, or is that too high an estimate?

Yes there has been great numbers joining this year and long may it continue. Have a look at the very bottom of the Statistics page and it'll give you a snapshot of how the member numbers have grown since the very beginning ;)

That is really impressive - I am proud to be part of those statistics and I hope that the Stew grows and grows.

Thanks for the great site that you provide Frank .

I've never checked the statistics before, and I don't think I'll do it again for a while. What a chatterbox I am...

There is absolutely no need to be embarrassed. We love your chatting - it is part and parcel of the wonderful Stew when we surf the Stew. :-D
Feel free to chatter as much as you like. I totally enjoy it.

Wow! That's great! Now post, everybody, post!

I wonder what percentage of them are One-Post-Wonders and how many have stayed on to share a bit more?

At my place, I delete anyone who registers and doesn't ever post, though they get six months to lurk first - do you do any mopping up that way?

I'd never looked at the statistics page before either Droopy. It seems I'm a bit of a chatterbox too :)

I am also feeling a bit guilty now (I checked teh stats)

I am relatively new to the Stew compared to you and it seems that I am also "featuring" as a chatterbox.
