That's how long it has been raining. This morning I was headed into town to exercise and could hear ice ticking on the windsheild and see it in the headlights too. They say Wed. before the rain stops. I hope they are wrong.
Oh, man, what I'd give for 24 hours of rain with three more days in the forecast!! But your area really doesn't need that much, you will be growing webs between your toes. Hope it dries out soon for you.
For this 3 day rain-a-thon, they are saying 1 to 3 inches. And then a chance of snow showers as the cold front comes through.
We seem to have had rain, rain and nothing but rain for weeks now. We do get the odd day when it doesn't pour down but then we have gale force winds instead. I hope your forecasters are wrong and that the weather improves for you soon.
Yep, It looks as if at least 1/2 of the state is under a flood watch. :-x Can I say I am TIRED of this forecast. I want a better one than this. Today was the first day of gun deer season and I don't think I heard one gunshot. I told my son he was going to have to get a canoe to go hunting and bash the deer over the head with the paddle while they were suctioned into the mud, instead of shooting them
Pray it stops for you and goes to someone who needs it. I can remember in 08. Jerry was saying prayer out -loud. Please Stop. water all around us. Told him water was going down. Had just read Upper Room. Said DO NOT FEAR THE WATER. He said'"Hard being on Island with Merry Sun Shine" but water started going down.
Well, now its at 48 hours and still sprinleing. And they are saying it will end with some snow on Wed.
That large low pressure system is now over Ontario. The rain started last night and is to continue until Thursday. A lake is forming on my lawn!
Capt. I to hate it when it rains for days on end. During the summer it's not to bad because it helps ones veggies and flower grow or drowned it you get to much. I am so thankful we do not live in the states of Oregon or Wash. During the fall and winter they will have non stop drizzle for up to 3 weeks. No wonder the football team in Oregon is named the Oregon Ducks
What I fear is freezing rain in winter. Have had that in past. And no lights for over a week. And can ice skate down gravel roads in country. Seeing all kinds of cars in ditches.
