Being on the west coast I imaging you get more than your share of storms that batter the coastline. Here in the northeast, wind rotating around a low pressure area create 'Nor'easters'. Coastlines get reshaped by major storms, even houses are swept away as the coast erodes. Jerry
Wow ! Sure nice straight logs. Does anyone one salvage them ? Could build a house with those logs. After letting them dry a while of course.
Amazing how it is, but you are not allowed to remove anything from the beach. I always say they are a danger to the boaters etc.
I actually got a "warning" from Environment Canada warning to stay off the beaches here in Tofino and Ucluelet as the waves are so large and powerful they're tossing logs around like toothpicks. Not safe to be on the beaches when a wave can fire a huge log at you.
