I was unable to take a photo adequately showing how many strawberries I am going to have, however once harvested, they are easier to count. An astute reader may tell me how many I actually harvested.

It is only getting started, tomorrow I hope to have the double.

Odif, my astute count of your strawberries is--a lot! Well done, and twice that many tomorrow? Wow!

What a lovely thing to see.
The roses are a nice touch.

Nothing is as appealing to the eyes as a strawberry. Beautiful harvest! Well done. :)

I can see them now Odif, those strawberries really looks good. Reminded me of the time I spend in an organic farm in Luxembourg, eating more than I harvest. They are so sweet and delicious! :D

There were even more yesterday. I made jam. 1kg of strawberries and 500g sugar and a couple of pinches of black pepper. Slow cooked until sticky gooey perfection.

    Woah!
Brilliant, Odif. I can almost taste those. I hope that I can get some as well, but I have nocturnal viitors.

Amazing! Must be a good year for strawberries here too ... I am seeing strawberry plants in bloom in my garden and even the lawn this year!
The ones in my garden must be from compost, but the ones in the lawn are the tiny wild ones that the birds love.
Its a good oregano year too apparently, it is growing amazingly everywhere!

If you all keep on about strawberries, I may be tempted to try a small patch next year. Odif, they look beautiful, and Netty, I'm happy you have strawberries. You are some great gardener to harvest things you didn't sow!
We had 1 3/4" of rain yesterday evening--much needed and much appreciated. We didn't have to haul water this morning, and likely won't have to for a couple of days. Luckily my husband started the onion harvest yesterday while I was hanging garlic, so we won't be out in the mud pulling onions.
Off to watch Formula One, and then later this morning are the Professional Bull Riders finals. From the sublime to the almost ridiculous . . . .

Beautiful strawberries, @Odif. Ours have just started to bloom so I won't taste them for some weeks yet. Like Netty we have wild strawberries in the garden. I have to admit I weed lots of them out of where they're not supposed to be.
