A few more plants, succulents, camelia, maybe an amaryllis?

Hi, more plants to ID. Two are hand me down succulents. Sedum I think?
    1. This one gets more purplish in full sun.

    3. A camelia I think. The second photo is another one in a different area that did bloom once. The bloom was red with the yellow stamens. Pretty sure they are both the same plant so I'd really just like an idea of what kind of camellia I have.

    4. This has never bloomed. It looks like maybe an amarylis? Notice the leaves are wavy on the edges. I think maybe it needs to be moved to a sunnier area.

5.just a random house plant that was a gift. Some sort of Pothos?

#4 reminds me of Crinum... but without a bloom there's no way to be certain.

It's my understanding that the Camellia japonica is the most common one sold in the States so that is most likely the species you have. Now for the cultivar, that needs a photo of the bloom to ID. But check out the Camellia Encyclopedia on the http://www.americancamellias.or/display ... =3,136,137]
    website.

#4 is not an Hippeastrum vittatum (Commercial Amaryllis). Their leaves are wide, thick and strap looking, coming up on two sides then the flower stem comes out of the middle.

The edges of the leaves are wavy because that's how they grow, there are several plants with leaves like that, don't move it to more sun until you definitely ID it just in case it's a part shade plant.

And for some reason those leaves make me think of a Asplenium nidus (Bird's Nest Fern) but I can't say for sure having never grown one. ;)

We've been here for two yrs and no bloom sadly. I think I'll at least dig it up enough to see how it grows underneath then cover it back up.

So here's 4 dug up. I decided to pot it and stick it on my sun porch, most plants that I put out there thrive. Any ideas now? Hopefully I can get it to bloom.

Still looks like a Crinum to me.
Whatever it is.... hope it blooms for you so you won't have to guess anymore.

Possibly a soap plant? Chlorogalum pomeridianum. Looks alot like the pics I see on google images.

Looks a bit more like the soap plant I found but I'll bet you're correct. From what I gather on both plants a crinum is more likely to be found in my part of the country.

I have the first one too! It's reddish on the borders.

When I first got it though, it looked more like this:

Mrs. HS... here is a photo of my Crinum for you to compare. There's a definite resemblance. Hope it helps some.

Thanks. That certainly looks like what I have. I hope to get proof with a bloom soon.

They are pretty much finished blooming here.... but I did just have one open up the other day... so there's hope for your's still.
And by the way... mine are in almost full sun. And they will multiply. So they do need a bit of room. Can't wait to see blooms!

Yes, I'm going to find a place in the backyard where there's plenty of sun. It's been in an area that's shady almost all day so hopefully it'll do better back then. Just don't know where to put it yet, I may have to make a new flower bed. I've got quite a collection of lilies going, this is a nice new addition.
