Food trends--fried eggs on everything, kale, sprouts, no thank you. Now there is a food trend I am going to try--Charcoutrie board!
Cheeses, cured meats, olives, fresh vegetables--you can do what you like and serve with crackers or baguettes. During our hot summers, this is a great dinner idea, or even lunch dish. Lordy, I'm becoming "trendy"!

That sounds sort of European, Jane. What’s. Not to like. You may be waxing trendy, but it all just makes me hungry. The Bride and I are unwinding after a marathon blueberry jamming round this morning.

Sjoerd, it is very European--French, as I understand. It sure makes a good, light lunch or dinner during our hot weather!

Charcuterie is the correct spelling of the word and it means basically dried or cured meats.
